What is a documentary session?
During a documentary session all you have to do is live your life.
I won’t tell you what to do, where to stand, or to look at me and smile.
All I want to do is photograph your life as it is now.
I want to show you how your son looks at you when you’re not looking;
how your daughter twirls your hair in her fingers while you snuggle her on the couch.
The goal here is to authentically capture how your family loves,
and hopefully catch some funny moments, too!

What can we do?
You can do whatever is true to your family.
If you go on hikes, I’ll come with you!
If you stay home and bake, I’ll watch your kids make a mess with the cake batter!
If your favorite time as a family is dinner and reading at bedtime, I’ll come and listen to Goodnight, Moon, too!
